This caused many manufacturers to curtail production in key economic markets.<\/p>\n<p>After the economy collapsed in early 2020 &#8211; due to the global <strong><span style=\"color: #90111c;\">lockdowns<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; the same manufacturers experienced <strong><span style=\"color: #90111c;\">historically high demand<\/span><\/strong> in the second half of 2020. This was triggered by changes in consumers&#8217; workplaces and lifestyles and led to a <span style=\"color: #90111c;\"><strong>shortage of supply.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Significant <span style=\"color: #90111c;\"><strong>price increases<\/strong><\/span> and <strong><span style=\"color: #90111c;\">delays in deliveries<\/span><\/strong> are the result. Sellers of used machinery benefit from a considerable increase in the value of their machines in view of the immediate availability of their offer.<\/p>\n<p>It is unlikely that the increased demand will be short-lived.
